During (1985-1995) of his employment at Silicon Systems, a Japanese-owned Semiconductor manufacturer, he was Training/TPM Manager under the direct mentorship of TDK LEAN/TPM corporate-level advisory staff located on-site in Singapore where he participated in TPM (also known as Total Perfect Management and LEAN also known as Ideal Production System in TDK Corp. which is a Japan-certified World-Class TPM Corporation).

As an Industry LEAN/TPM Consultant, he has since undertaken 21 on-site TPM Consulting Projects for both the Process and Discrete Industries achieving many breakthrough results. His success with JIPM-compliant FAST-Track TPM consultancy projects cover diverse industry-types such as a UK Wafer Fab, some of the Asia?s largest Paper Mills, IC Assembly and Test Plants, Plating Shops, Motor-cycle Assembly Plant, Surface-Mount Plant in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the United Kingdom. He also consulted for clients wishing to prepare for the JIPM Awards. He is also a sought-after international speaker on LEAN/TPM in all these countries and including Thailand and India.

In 2008, he received a Pre-seed Fund from the MSC of Malaysia to develop a generic LEAN Costing Software specifically for the Manufacturing Sector which can help Management measure Inefficiencies, Losses and Wastes. This software is based on LEAN Principles gleaned from his 20 years experiences. Part of the long-term product development roadmap includes adapting the LEAN ScoreBoard for use in the Public and Service industries.
